Students are allowed to wear their Halloween costume to school on Tuesday, October 31. They can wear their costume to school, but they must leave any associated weapons at home. If their costume includes a mask, the mask will NOT be worn until the Halloween parade.
The Halloween parade will begin at 1:15 and end by 2:00. Families are invited to join the fun and watch from the sidelines on the field. Students will not be dismissed until the bell rings. First Grade will not be having a Halloween Party. We will be doing special Halloween Rotations within our grade level. Parent Teacher Conference Confirmation notices will be sent home Monday, October 30. Please check your child's folder for this information. If you are unable to make the scheduled time please call the school at (702) 799-7760 or email me at [email protected] to reschedule.

Congratulations to Kaia for being October Mountain Lion of the Month. Kaia has been working hard in class and is showing her Mountain Lion life skills everyday. She is kind and helpful to her teachers and friends. We are so glad that Kaia is in Room 11 at Nate Mack.
Thank you to everyone who donate a book(s) to our Harvest Festival basket. The basket will be available at the Silent Auction at the Harvest Festival this Friday at Nate Mack ES.
Your Life Book assignment this week is to write about your favorite candy! If you have the candy wrapper you can glue the wrapper in your book. If not, then you can draw a picture of how it looks. State your opinion and give 3 reasons why you like that candy. Then have a closing sentence. You should have 5 sentences. Practice reading your Life Book so you are ready to share it with the class. Remember to write the date and bring your book back to school by Friday. Happy writing!
